LAY EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS

The LEMs, as an extension of the clergy, assist during the celebration of the Hold Communion at all Masses and administer communion to members of the congregation who are sick and shut-in and , therefore, unable to attend worship services.  During Sunday services, the LEMs also read the second lesson of the Lectionary and lead the Prayers of the People.
